Queenstown Winter Festival 2010
Friday 25th June - Sunday 4th July
Every year since 1975, Queenstown has thrown a party for a very special friend - winter 2010 . The recipe is actually pretty simple - you take fireworks, comedy, drag races, birdman action, jazz, street parades, a glitzy ball and that’s just in town.
Then add the mountain stuff ski races, rail jams, night skiing, dog races and plenty of mountain mayhem. Finally throw it all in a bowl, chuck in a pinch of "wacky", a dash of "zany" and a couple of good handfuls of "wow" then simmer until June when we get to add the last and most important ingredient - you!
